

Pilib Mistéil: Chairperson was brought up in the Shaw?s Road Gaeltacht in Belfast, where he attended the first Irish school in the North, Bunscoil Phobal Feirste. Since graduating in 1990 he has taught in the IME sector and has raised his family in an Irish speaking environment. Pilib is an active member in the Irish community in Belfast; he is on the committee of a number of Irish language organizations. Now he is the principal of Bunscoil an tSléibhe Dhuibh in Ballymurphy, one of the best performing IME schools in the north.

Seán Ó Coinn: Treasurer : CEO of Comhairle na Gaelscolaíochta since 2001. Seán was Chairman of committee for establishing IM preschool and IM primary unit in Armagh between 1988-1993. He is qualified with a B.A. (Hons) Celtic Studies from Queens University Belfast and Has a higher diploma in management from University of Ulster.
Seán is married with 3 sons and is a keen traditional musician.

Emer O Hagan is a Senior Consultant, Research, Strategy and Policy Group with PriceWaterhouse Coopers. She has a degree in Irish and Sociology, an MA in political science and a Ph.D in Industrial Relations. Emer has lectured at the National University of Ireland Galway, Queens University Belfast and in DCU in Dublin, she has also had numerous articles published. Emer has two children who attend Bunscoil Bheanna Boirche, in Castlewellan Co. Down.

Dr Stiofán Ó Nualláin is co-director of Trademark which is affiliated to ICTU and provides training and consultancy services. Stiofán has been involved in conflict resolution here in the North if Ireland and also in the Balkans, this work was under Counteract, the anti-intimidation unit of ICTU. Stiofán is on the board of Cumann Leath Chathail which promotes the Irish language and culture in Downpatrick and his children attend the local bunscoil.

Pádraig Ó Ceallaigh: Pádraig originally worked as an accountant for twenty five years. He was awarded a degree and a post-grad certificate in accountancy from the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. He also attained a degree in Modern Irish from the University of Ulster, Belfast. From 2007 Pádraig has worked as Finance Officer in Cultúrlann MacAdam Ó Fiach. He sits on the bord of Naíscoil and Gaelscoil Naomh Éanna as a treasurer. Pádraig is married and has three children.

Dr Gearóid Trimble: Gearóid is a Programme Manager with Foras na Gaeilge, in which he is responsible for the Community and Business Section. Previous to this, he was the Co-ordinator for Gaelscoil an Lonnáin and was actively involved in over 12 Irish language organisations within the Volunarty Sector. Gearóid holds a PhD, MA and BA (Hons.) in Irish Language Studies from the University of Ulster in Coleraine, as well as a Diploma in Management (C.I.P.F.A.) and Higher Cert. in Business & Enterprise Development (L.Y.I.T.). Gearóid is married with four daughters and lives in Belfast.

Pilib Ó Ruanaí, Chief Executive : Pilib has been the Chief Executive of Iontaobhas since 2001. He has a degree in Celtic Studies from Queen's University Belfast and a Masters in Business Administration from the Open University. He is the founder and former chairperson of the first Irish-Medium school in South Belfast, Scoil an Droichid. Pilib is also a serving governor of Coláiste Feirste and director of An Nasc, an Irish language not for profit company engaged in economic regeneration.

Pat Keenan, Manager of TACA : Initially qualified as a electrician, Pat is a Irish language activist who is a member and past Chairperson of An Droichead the Irish language community and business centre in South Belfast.
