Seán Mag Uidhir, ChairPerson : Seán is the editor of the North Belfast News, part of the Belfast Media Group of newspapers, which includes the Irish language newspaper Lá.

Seán Ó Coinn : CEO of Comhairle na Gaelscolaíochta since 2001. Seán was Chairman of committee for establishing IM preschool and IM primary unit in Armagh between 1988-1993. He is qualified with a B.A. (Hons) Celtic Studies from Queens University Belfast and Has a higher diploma in management from University of Ulster.
Seán is married with 3 sons and is a keen traditional musician.

Muireann Ní Mhóráin: Formerly a senior official in the Department of Education in the Republic of Ireland; she is now chief executive of COGG which supports Irish-Medium Education and Gaeltacht schools in the Republic.

Róise Ní Bhaoil: is a native Irish speaker from Rannafast and is a senior member of staff with The Ultach Trust, an Irish language organisation established to promote Irish on a cross-community basis.

Seán Mac Goill: is a retired architect and life-long Irish language activist. He has provided planning and design services for community and Irish language projects for over 40 years

J. Christopher Napier, Treasurer: He is a solicitor, and a founding member of two Irish language schools as well as a founder member of the Board of Ultach Trust.

Professor Dónall Ó Baoill: He is professor of Celtic Studies in Queen's University Belfast. He has written extensively in this area and recently chaired a Ministerial review of Gaeltacht areas in Ireland.

Pilib Ó Ruanaí, Chief Executive : Pilib has been the Chief Executive of Iontaobhas since 2001. He has a degree in Celtic Studies from Queen's University Belfast, is the founder, parent and remains chairperson of the first Irish-Medium school in South Belfast, Scoil an Droichid. He is also chair of An Droichead, an Irish language community and business project in South Belfast. Pilib is also a serving governor of Coláiste Feirste and director of An Nasc, an Irish language not for profit company engaged in economic regeneration.

Dr Réamaí Mathers, Fundraising Manager : Originally qualified with a degree in Environmental Science and with a doctorate in ecological science Réamaí worked for many years in this field. Réamaí however became first involved in the Trust Fund for Irish-Medium Education when he and others founded Gaelscoil an Chaistil, the Irish-Medium preschool and primary school in Ballycastle north Antrim. Réamaí has been employed as the the Senior Development Officer of Comhairle na Gaelscolaíochta for 5 years, is a board member of the all Ireland schools organisation Gaelscoileanna and is the Chairperson of Gaelscoil na Chaistil. Réamaí is married with two daughters and a son.

Peadar Colm Ó Cuinneagain, Manager of Gaelscolaíocht Eireann : Peadar started the post of Project Manager of Gaelscolaíocht Eireann in September 2007. He worked as Community Development Officer in the Greater Colin area of West Belfast for many years before working extensively in the Irish language sector. Previous to this post Peadar worked for Foras na Gaeilge for several years as Staff Officer for the Arts and Public Sector. He has an Honours Degree in the Arts.

Fionnuala Nic Thom, Administrator : Fionnuala is an example of how the Trust Fund for Irish-Medium Education works. Fionnuala came from a home were initially no Irish was spoken. She and here sisters are past pupils of the Trust Fund for Irish-Medium Education. Fionnuala now uses Irish as a normal everyday language with her own children who also attend Irish-Medium Schools. Fionnuala amazingly finds time to study part time towards a degree in Irish at the University of Ulster.

Pat Keenan, Manager of TACA : Initially qualified as a electrician, Pat is a Irish language activist who is a member and past Chairperson of An Droichead the Irish language community and business centre in South Belfast.
